After School Club

What is After School Club
After School Club is a fun, active, and safe program held on Early Release Fridays for Grass Lake School students. It runs from 1:15 PM to 4:00 PM, giving kids a place to hang out, play games, create art, enjoy group activities, and spend time with friends under the supervision of trusted staff.
The club is designed to give working parents peace of mind and give kids a fun, structured space to finish their school week.

What happens if school is canceled or there's a snow day?
If school is closed or an early release is canceled due to weather or emergencies, the After School Club will also be canceled for that day.

Can I pick up my child early?
Yes, you can pick up your child at any time between 1:15 and 4:00 PM. Please let us know in advance if there’s a change in your usual pick-up time or person. You can text 847-370-5681 and we will bring them out.

Can I join mid-year?
Yes, as long as spots are available.

Do I need to sign up for the whole year?
No — you can register weekly
However, space is limited and priority goes to those who sign up early.
Teen Rec Night

What is Teen Rec Night?
Teen Rec Night is a safe, fun evening event where local teens can hang out, play games, listen to music, eat snacks, and enjoy activities with friends-all in a supervised space.

Teen Rec Night is open to students 5th and up.

We prefer advance sign-up when possible to help us plan for food and staff, but walk-ins are welcome.

Yes- friends from other local schools are welcome as long as they meet the age requirements and follow the rules.

What should I bring?
Just yourself! Comfortable clothes and shoes are recommended. You may want to bring a little cash for snacks. Items or clothes needed for special events will be posted.

Tutors set their own availability. Once matched, you’ll coordinate directly with them to set a schedule that works best for your family.
